Dr. Silverman received his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry and earned his Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University. He completed internships at the Great Lakes Naval Hospital Department of Ophthalmology and the Fort Sheridan Army Medical Center.

Since 1985, Dr. Silverman has been dedicated to providing exceptional eye care to the Lansing community. He specializes in primary eye care with a focus on urgent eye care, glaucoma management, dry eye diagnosis and treatment, and contact lens care.

Dr. Silverman has been involved in laser refractive surgical care since 1992 and serves as an Optometric Consultant for the TLC Laser Center, where he is also a member of their Board of Optometric Advisors. He is passionate about advancing the field of optometry through participation in new contact lens investigations and the development of emerging diagnostic testing technologies.

Dr. Silverman is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Michigan Optometric Association, and the Central Michigan Optometric Society.

Lindsey Hood, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University, where she served as the co-president of the Pre-Optometry Club.

Throughout her education, Dr. Hood gained valuable clinical experience through externships at esteemed institutions, including the Fort Wayne, Indiana VA Medical Center, Henry Ford Optimeyes, and the Michigan State University Neuro-ophthalmology Clinic. She also served as president of the Michigan Optometric Student Association, demonstrating her leadership and dedication to the field.

Dr. Hood began her journey in optometry as an optometric technician at Okemos Optometry, where she developed a strong connection to the practice. Today, she is licensed to diagnose and treat ocular diseases, with a focus on urgent eye care, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye examinations. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association.

Originally from Mount Pleasant, Michigan, Dr. Hood enjoys spending her free time with her fiancé, Patrick, and their goldendoodle, Kona. She loves camping, snowboarding, playing tennis, and traveling.

Sara Camburn, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in May 2006, graduating with honors. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, cum laude, with a minor in Chemistry from Central Michigan University in 2000. During her time at CMU, she was an active member of the Marching Chippewas.

During her optometric training, Dr. Camburn completed externships at Fort Wainwright Army Base in Fairbanks, Alaska; the Michigan State University Neuro-Ophthalmology Clinic; and Lansing Ophthalmology at Sparrow Hospital Professional Building.

She joined Okemos Optometry in 2007 and has extensive experience treating patients of all ages. Dr. Camburn is licensed to diagnose and manage a variety of ocular conditions, including allergies, dry eye, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease.

Dr. Camburn resides in Okemos with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, biking, running, and spending time with her nieces.
